Over 40 years ago, The Wagner Family first made a name for themselves producing quality Cabernet Sauvignon under their Caymus Vineyards label in 1972. It was the 1973 vintage of Cabernet Sauvignon that put them on the map as one of the lead Napa Valley Wineries. Twenty Five years later, as the next generation of Wagners followed in the footsteps of their parents; the Wagner Family’s portfolio of quality wines has expanded. Oldest son, Charlie Wagner Jr. produces high quality wines from the Mer Soleil, Conundrum and Red Schooner labels and daughter Jenny Wagner producing top Sauvignon Blanc and Merlot from her family’s Rutherford and Oak Knoll estates under Emmolo.
Attendees will enjoy a guided tasting by Danielle Christensen, Florida Representative of Caymus Vineyards, that includes the Caymus Cabernet Sauvignons we’ve all come to cherish (especially when it comes to celebrating special occasions!) as well an introduction to the expanded portfolio of next generation Wagner Family wines.
The tasting will be paired with a light lunch.
